School Scorecard

Schools in the Sand Creek Zone develop scorecards on an annual basis to ensure that they closely monitor key initiatives and strategic actions.  The school scorecard provides a window into what respective schools are intently focusing on throughout the year.

Our Goals

  • Increase engagement with staff and students
  • Provide clarity to stakeholders around behavioral expectations
  • Include students and families in student on-track performance data

How We Will Get There

  • Creation of schoolwide Renaissance team that plans for intentional celebration of staff and students
  • Celebrate 100% of students each month to increase a sense of community and belonging
  • Create accessible path and connection to student handbook via student class meetings twice a school year as well as subsequent family communication
  • Host on-track meetings for 100% of students by the start of semester two with corresponding family contact

Our Goals

  • Utilize research-based instructional strategies based off student performance data
  • Ensure that staff employ viable, grade level curriculum with fidelity that aligns to quality tier one instruction

How We Will Get There

  • Integrate Kagan and Seven Steps strategies to ensure a language-rich environment is evident in all lessons
  • Analyze student work to derive specific Kagan and Seven Steps strategy integration
  • All staff will have 100% of unit plans and assessments completed prior to the start of each unit
  • Instructional Leadership Team (ILT) collaboratively define viable curriculum related to SCZ instructional Framework for tier one instruction
  • Evaluators provide concrete, focused feedback aligned to school priorities for staff from observations

  • Communicate updated school mission/vision to staff, students, and families
  • Equip families with tools and resources to support student on-track progress towards graduation Prepare students for success beyond high school

How We Will Get There

  • Share and post mission/vision visuals and graphics throughout school including all First Days Back documents and meetings as part of clarified direction of school community
  • Family implementation of online tools to track student progress as a result of staff training support starting in August 2024 where staff will communicate with families on a regular basis after implementation of tools
  • Increase advanced learning opportunities in Concurrent Enrollment, Advanced Placement, and Career/Technical Pathways Meet or exceed state and district average in standardized tests
  • Regularly deploy data review cycles of Star 360 performance after each administration Restructure advisory course (CCP) for all grade levels for more explicit alignment to Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAP)
  • Provide focused and actionable feedback in observations of staff that align to grade level student standards and teacher quality standards
