Lauren Alire

Lauren Alire currently serves as the Dean of Students at Sand Creek High School in District 49 and is in her 13th year in education. Her work is grounded in equitable educational practices, a whole-child approach to student support, and the use of restorative approaches to discipline that promote student growth and accountability.

Now in her second year as a Scorpion, Ms. Alire values Sand Creek High School’s culture and community. She appreciates the strong relationships built with students, staff, and families and values the collaborative environment maintained across the school. She is a firm believer in the mission to empower students to be the best versions of themselves wherever they go and works daily to ensure this mission is reflected in school expectations and practices.

Ms. Alire earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Education from the University of Colorado, her Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Secondary Learner, and her administrative license from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
